What should I expect from Creative Cacao Ceremonies?

Kat invites you to come with an open heart and mind. She will guild you to connect with yourself through a ceremonial grade cup of cacao and therapeutic art. This plant medicine relaxes your heart and brain at least 40%. Not only will cacao improve your sleep, it will also help promote deep meditation, and releases any emotional restraints we hold in our heart.

We all have something we need to work on; this ceremony will allow you to speak from the heart and slowly heal from within. As you go about your day and days ahead, the ceremony will be a reminder to ease your heart and help give you mental clarity.

Why is Cacao used in Ceremonies?

Theobroma Cacao Tree originated over 5000 years ago, grown in native tropical climates of Mesoamerica. Theobroma found in cacao is a bitter taste, in Greek translation is Food of the Gods.

Mythology story of IxCacao or Goddess of Cacao has been passed down by many generations. Her story is one that unites people with healing, nurturing, and love for all. She holds wisdom and a gentle reminder to balance our heart and mind as we see that abundance exist all around us.

What is therapeutic Art?

Art is a form of expression that is calming, relaxing, and simply our own. As we spend some time exploring our inner thoughts, you can bring your inner child out to create freely. Kat will guide us with cacao’s heart medicine to activate the knowledge from within.

 What happens during the ceremony?

The ceremony can take between 1.5-2 hours. (She has certification to handle food in her home. Ingredients she uses are all store bought.) Please drink a lot of water as cacao is a natural detoxifier.

  • Kat starts by inviting everyone into the sacred space. Opening the space up with light breath works and music

  • Gratitude and honoring the sacred Cacao.

  • Set intentions with oracle card reading, art activity, and share our intentions. Cacao is not a hallucinogenic or psychedelic, but your imagination might heighten in the best ways.

  • Close the space with sound bath voice guided meditation. Shamanic drumming used towards the end to finished with light stretches and free flow body movement.
